Like many of you, I am anxiously waiting the freedom to travel without a mask or the need to physical distance. Now that the U.S. requires visitors and returning residents to provide proof of negative COVID-19 test results in order to enter the country, international travel has become much more complicated and uncertain. Leaving the country will require that travelers locate approved testing sites at their destination, which will be able to provide documented results within 72 hours of their return flight. In addition, it also means travelers will need to be prepared for an extended stay, more testing and perhaps medical treatment, should they test positive while abroad.

The CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council says she is against a global mandate to require a COVID-19 vaccination in order to travel. Nevertheless, all conversation points to a vaccine mandate.
